A story I like to share and for those romantics and adventure travelers there something about meeting people from all over world that want to see nature at finest. From the beginning, I wanted Aguila de Osa to be a gathering-place for adventure travelers from around the world who have come to experience the spectacular Osa Peninsula. From the long houses of the Iroquois and the great kivas of the Puebleans in North America, to the xapono houses of the Yanomami in the Amazon, to the ranchos built by the Guaymi people of the Osa Peninsula — are all expressions of the concept of a centralized great room.
We continue this tradition of eating together and sharing stories with our guests, by gathering in The Great Room at Aguila de Osa. As a part of the Greentique Hotels group, our commitment is to enhance the natural experience of our location: connecting people to the Osa and to each other, based on a shared passion for being a part of the magic of nature. There is no finer dining experience in the Osa region than at Aguila de Osa, where Chef Dixon handcrafts a truly distinctive and adventurous style of Pan-American cuisine. With food sourced from the pristine waters and local farms of Drake Bay, guests are served in the spectacular Great Room, exploring the freshest seafood, premium free-range poultry, choice cuts of beef and pork, and simply gorgeous local produce and organic herbs.
