Gilpin Hotel - Spa Lodge

Gilpin Hotel & Lake House launched five luxurious detached lodges in 2016, each cedar-clad with a fabulously private en-suite spa – with treatment area, steam room, rain maker shower, free standing oval stone bath, outdoor sauna and hydrotherapy hot tub surrounded by a walled garden – and wonderful views over the gardens to the Lake District moors.

Guests can enhance their stay with a very special Spa Experience, arriving to Gift Hampers filled with Gilpin’s Organic Jetty Spa products, and distinctive delicacies created by Executive Chef Hrishikesh Desai to complement the aroma blends, along with mood lighting, fires, electric blinds and a state-of-the-art music system – invigorating all of the senses.

The Spa Lodge Experience begins with an aromatherapy massage in the stunning open-plan lounge / treatment room, after which you are left in privacy to enjoy the Kaolin clay body mask in the steam room, bamboo body polish in the rain-maker shower, the outdoor sauna, and the the ‘Cube’ hydrotherapy hot tub (27 jets) with a facial spritz. When you have finished, replenish your skin with soothing facial and body balms… And later? Chill out with some bath salts in the free standing oval stone bath.
